Model "FF" is a vertical lifting clamp equipped with a "Lock-Open" and a "Lock-Close"device, that facilitates placing and removing the clamp from the member, and it is used primarily for construction and erection of steel plates and structures. Make sure that the clamp is well inserted on the member to be lifted, leaving 4÷5 mm clearance between the back of the jaw and the load and that the lock lever is in the lockclosed position before starting a lift. In case of sideloading, do not exceed the capacity reduction (as per graph below depending angle). Never exceed 10° sideloading. Remove clamp only after the load is fully supported and at rest in a stable permanent position. Do not lift with vertical clamps plates which thickness is less of 1/4 of the maximum opening width. (EX. Mod. F 0,75 ton - opening mm 0-15 lifting plates with thickness of 3 mm).Do not lift any load less than 1/5 of the lifting capacity of the clamp.(EX. 3 ton clamp - less than 0,6 ton)FF clamp is equipped with an articulated shackle in order to increase the allowable sideloading angle as per graph below.
